Manager is the best ever! Charley's Grilled Subs, where you can eat, is just walking distance from the hotel.

Generally pleased overall. We thought the carpets were worn in the hallways. Need to put another walkway to to outdoor fire pit. Going through the pool to the patio was slippery due to wet floor by the sauna..
Great friendly people . Fast check in and breakfast great. I would reccomend this hotel and will stay at Hampton Inn again.
Hallway carpeting worn Need better access to patio. Drain in bathtub drains slow. Only access to the main highway on Tunnel Road meant taking only a RH turn to exit hotel road.

Location is great, close to Asheville downtown. Tunnel Road is very good for dining due to variety of rest.
The elevators are not properly placed. One elevator is close to the entrance/reception and as such is busy most of the time.

Overlooking indoor pool strong chlorine smell

Love this place. Indoor pool and spa were nice and clean. Fireplace outside was a nice touch. Room was clean and bed was soft. They offer FREE shuttle service to local businesses.
They need to add meat to their breakfast buffet.

Breakfast was hot and had a nice variety. The breakfast staff were super nice which was refreshing in the morning when everyone else is usually a grump! Very quick uber ride to downtown and hotel is located near a liquor store, gas station, whole foods, and several fast food places.
I wish the outdoor fire pit area was open later...or at least past 10pm. It could have been nice to chill out there with the girls after a night of drinking!

Booked room on Booked.net. When checking in later in the evening the man at the desk said that he did not have our reservation and that they were sold out. Said they only had one Booked.net reservation and that it was completely under a different name entirely, and was not for us. Gave him the confirmation number and he said that it was impossible because their confirmation numbers begin with a different sequence. Went to several other hotels in the area and all were full. After being on hold with Booked.net for several minutes the rep came on. He called the hotel and a different person answered. The rep confirmed that we did indeed a room reserved. We drove again back to the hotel and checked in with no issues at all this time, using a different clerk. First clerk was completely incompetent and not very helpful.

We enjoyed our stay and would come back again. The breakfast was a pleasant surprise compared to other hotels with breakfasts included.

Enjoyed the location of the room on the property
The pool closed at 10 pm. It is not monitored by a life guard at all and we had a late check in and didn't get to spend much time at all in the pool. $320 a night, I should be able to use the pool as long as I like

We decided Thursday morning to leave early and break the trip in Asheville. Made the reservation early Thursday morning. They were cheerful and let us check in early. There was a nice breakfast. Good internet and there was a snack machine by the check-in desk

AC didn't work well, gave us issues over scooter parking (if you are on 2 wheels stay somewhere else!), no food vending only limited at lobby, $ was high due to torist season, location a bit far from downtown.

Love the beds. Love the pool and hot tub area.
Disappointed the outside deck wasn't available and the fire place. Should have at least had the chairs and benches available to sit on in another area. Didn't like having the scenic rooftop as our view.
